Dursley News - September 2008

Aside from the new school at Rednock and the fire station, which continue to make rapid progress, other locations around town are also seeing change. The whole of the Dursley area seems to be seeing widespread development of late with nothing staying still for long. The Crest-Nicholson estate, once the home of Bymacks, is esentially complete and the final surface has been laid on Lister Drive, the main route from Uley Road. Within this estate, new steps have been installed up to the old scout hut which now perches on the edge of a steep drop after much of the surrounding earth was removed to make way for the houses.
