Dursley News - November 2017

The month of November saw the annual Remembrance Day events take place, notably the parade on the Sunday in which several groups took part. A highlight this year was the appearance of the Dursley Poppyman and the hundreds of poppies which decorated the town. Many dedicated volunteers hand-knitted and crocheted this fitting tribute, bringing colour everywhere one looked.

Elsewhere, some substantial building work on a new bridge is beginning on the new road which will link the bottom of Long Street and 'Gasworks Pitch', near the Vale Hospital.
