Dursley News - December 2009

Earlier in the month, work continued at a fast pace on the site of Dursley's new supermarket as the store framework was completed and then immediately followed by the erection of cladding to the roof and walls in addition to some of the external glazing. As the Christmas period approached a start was also made on laying new paving along part of Castle Street which will hopefully soon link in with the new paving intended for the area around the Town Hall.

On December 21st the town and much of the local area was covered by a layer of snow to the depth of several inches - a fitting wintry scene for the end of the year.
